Ein großartiges Bild! Erstaunlich, daß es trotz der ganzen Bewegung im Bild so scharf ist. Klasse, wie die Jungen in Reihe sitzen und die Schnäbel aufreißen. Da hat sich das Warten doch gelohnt!

You're right that the adult wasn't cooperating for this shot - but the kids put on their best show! A great moment to capture this one, well done. Good sharpness and detail, those gaping little beaks are really something!

Well, I wouldn't have thought it was taken at 1600 ISO, Thorsten. Quality is very good. I like the way you captured those four hungry, wide-opened beaks. A pity the parent is in the way a bit, but it's still a good capture. I love seeing those birds. Lots of them in Greece and France even, very few in Belgium alas. People don't like the nests, as the birds do drop an awful lot of s**t ;o)).
