Unfortunately for two weeks a year, only ...

I thought that you must be tired of my last old dusty photos and so I decided to brighten you up a bit.

It seems that I was wrong and this photo doesn't work really.
Lots of views and not a single word ...
Please tell me what's wrong with it !

You know, I'm considering more and more of switching off the points system because I really don't care about them. Sincere critiques are far more important for me.

Mie imi place mult poza, dupa opinia mea nu e nimic in neregula cu ea, dimpotriva, are compozitie frumoasa, culori vii, lumina buna. Dar ca sa fac un pic pe psihologul, poate ai obisnuit tu lumea cu subiecte mult mai creative in ultima vreme, mai putin conventionale, iar daca postezi o fotografie mai "cuminte" ca asta sunt derutati ceilalti si nu mai spun nimic, ori nu au vazut-o oamenii care comenteaza de obicei, ci doar aceia care se uita si nu indraznesc sa comenteze?!:-)

You ask a difficult question here.
There is really NOTHING wrong with this photo. It is perhaps a tiny bit busy, but the colours are superb -- everything is okay.
Sometimes the problem can be a simple as an unimaginative title.
To understand what a difference the title can make, consider the "Voice of Fire" by Barnet Newman. Do you think that it would have sold for 1.8 million dollars if it had been called "Three Strips of Paint" ??
As for switching off the points system -- I have thought about that too -- but most newer members need the points we can give them - it encourages them, I think.

As to the photo -- perhaps a slightly different crop and/or stronger framing would be the key?
I have done a small WS to show you what I mean and I will let you be the judge
