This is the Varvakios market downtown Athens... I took this picture at late afternoon when the market is empty. You can imagine how crowdy this place can be in the morning!

Hi Sotiris,
What I love more in the markets are the crowdy mornings mixed with the smell of fresh fruit and flowers :) I like these empty spaces, they look always a bit scary and out-of-life and the b&w gives it an even more desolated look (although there's a lot of tvs...) This building has a very interesting structure with the arches and lines.
