[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
An attempt to get the mood of some colleagues who were reluctantly heading back from 2 days on Milos Island in the Greek Islands. Taking almost directly into the sun, but with a UV filter the effect was something as expected. This large fast ferry pushed by more than 10,000 horsepower engines moves very quickly indeed, covering the 90 miles in around 3 hours, including brief stops at several other islands to pick up and drop people and cars. In the background is one of the many islands on this route.
WS shows the ship from shore.

A very good capture Murry. I especially like the light from the back. I think it looks better in b/w as the color not really visible in by the light

Hello Murray,
I like the composition, and the backlight effect is a plus!
Contrasty image with good shadows and a shimmering sea, what more can you ask for?
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hello Murray.
You're a reall world traveler, aren't you ?.
Good result with this backlight photo. Well done.
Always big fun to travel by boat. Especially when it goes fast.
We too, enjoyed the boat trip from Penang to Langkawi, which took 3 hours on full speed.
Have a nice weekend.
Regards from Jan

Hi Murray

Good sharpness & graphism. The minimalist colour would lend itself well to a b&w conversion. Good reflections & contrast, too. Tfs!

Hello Murray. Nice shot under good lighting. I like the decks and shadows capturing human interactions. Good work on the exposure working against the light. Regards. Jusni

Hi Murray !
the picture is very clear.
You've also done quite well with this interesting backlight :-)

Best regards, Daniel
