The whites, especially in the foustanella, are burnt indeed, John. But overall the light looks okay. Didn't you think of using fill flash under those shady trees?
We didn't see this man during our visit to the Acropolis, but he may have been in church at the time ;o)

Great portrait of this guy, his costume is colorful, how about those shoes. Was the temp. cool outside because I would be roasting in that outfit. The detail in the shot is very good. TFS.

Hi John !

I use two monitors and your PP looks totally different on them. On the current one looks very strange artificial (especially the white outfit but the sky, too). On the home one (LCD) the situation is far more better.

Die staat er gekleurd op, zeg.! Leuk zondags pakkie, toch ?
Als je heimwee hebt, naar de Griekse sfeer, In Zoetermeer is een fantastisch Grieks restaurant (ben ik het kaartje kwijt) dacht in de Dorpstraat, zoek het op.
Nog nooit in een Holland, meer naar mijn zin gehad tijdens een 'etentje' dan daar. Wel boeken als er eens in de maand live music is.
Als je binnen komt staat er zo eentje je op te wachten. Eigenaar en jonge vrouw en bediening helpen voor het hartst mee om er een gezellige bende van te maken. Komt dat zien.!

Hi John, a finishing touch would be a fill flash filter (Paint Shop Pro) with a strength of 20 and saturation of 5, that would bring just a wee bit more colour and light into the image. Love the pose and teh costume and well composed. TFS,

First day that I got to the computer and I saw this excellent shot of a typical Greek costume from the past! Very nice portrait of this interesting guy, very sharp and nicely composed. I hope that I deserve the ambassador title, but hospitality is a Greek specialty and I will always welcome TL friends!
