Hoi Frank,
What I like the most is DOF here. The sharp slab of a pilar, the blurred background and the stunning contrasting white pilars against the bright blue sky! A fine posting Frank!

hi, nice shot and dof, great sharp details of the rock at the fg with a view of the structure at the back, not sure about both parts being split half in the image though,

I see what you're trying to do here and I like it; it's not easy to be original and good, at least for things that have been taken many times, but you did it here.

Mooi beeld Frank .. stukje collonade op de voorgrond, mooi in detail, en de foto vervolledigd met de rijen in de achtergrond .. mooi werk !

Da's nu de tweede avond dat ik terugkeer naar deze foto !
't Is heel simpel : ze heeft iets.
( Maar toch. )
Die onscherpe volledige zuilen - verticale lijn - tov het onderwerp - de " beknotte " horizontale lijn. Goed gezien.
Incl die " fauna " :-) werkt ook mee vind ik.

Als ik hier wat uit m'n nek zit te "l..n"
daar moet je je niet aan storen.

Toch vraag ik me af - da's een losse vertaling van wat ik voel ( het is een zwakte ... ) -
of je niet beter een ander POV had gekozen.
Jij meer naar rechts, meer je " horizontale " partij in contrast gezet met die zuilen.
Niks veranderen aan scherpte of DOF.

Weet je ... op den duur vraagt ne mens zich af waarom het knopje aan een deurbel steeds rechts van de naam staat ( bij de horizontale modellekes )

Soms loont het om een paar dagen te wachten en dan de meest waardevolle te kiezen ;-)
En deze is het dan geworden. Origineel standpunt (hoewel ook hier waarschijnlijk honderden anderen ooit hetzelfde inzicht kregen) en mooi opgebouwd, met een fantastische grieks-blauwe lucht.
Misschien had de DOF wat ruimer gemogen om ook het (on)kruid scherper te hebben.
