My entry for Helen's 3in1 theme.

At first I thought I wouldn't have enough diverse pictures of the same subject to participate - except of Dingo, of course ☺^☺. But then again, why not show you the temple of Poseidon, located at Cape Sounio?

Another difficulty was the size of the images... TL's maximum limit of 800 pixels is really too little to show 3 pictures in one, if you want to maintain some details. That's why I cropped it to a panoramic size. Since my Large Post storage on TL is filled up entirely, I provide you with a hi-res 4,000 pixel wide version (660 Kb).

Here are three views on this temple: one taken during the afternoon, one taken at sunset, and one taken after a lovely fish diner with our friends Tanya and Vassilis.

Tech talk

Made a large canvas, copied the three different pictures as layers onto the new canvas, framed them, signed them, then downsized the lot for TL.

Tech data, left to right: f11 at 1/320, f14 at 1/500 and f16 at 25".

Will have no Internet connection for a couple of days, will be back to review your images soon!

Most interested in you Tech Talk on how you achieve the beautiful image. All three images are beautifly presented in their own right.

Hi Frank,
This is a great compilation and well presented, all three images are good and well captured and you have put them together well, the large off site version is really good too, there seems to be a little bit of lens flare on the center image but I don't think that distracts too much.
Well done
Regards Andy

Hi Frank,

The most beautiful sunsets in the world are at this place!! Great shot showing three different scenes. Could easily be a postcard from Greece.

thanks for sharing, Lisa

Very interesting composition!
Good job!

Hi Frank
Nice combination of these three ones for today's theme. All of them have a nice POV and they bring out the beauty of the ancient temple

These are fabulous captures and so good to see the different moods of this fabulous temple
Superb work on the captures

Now -- about the collage -- I think I might have done it just a little differently. I think I would have put the night shot in the centre and the sunset one on the right. That would have given two lovely diagonals to lead the yes in to the centre and to keep them from wandering off the page (or into the next image in the gallery)

Great captures, superb colours, excellent details and each one a fine composition on its own

Excellent choice to contribute to the theme. Well done.

Bonjour Frank,
Très beau montage mettant en valeur ce magnifique temple sous différents éclairages et point de vue! Le format panoramique est un excellent choix de présentation. Bravo! Annie

:)!

Hello Frank!

The montage is excellent with three different time of the day shots. Raaaaahhhhh Lovely comme dirait Gotlib !

Thanks for the link to the HIGH RESOLUTION POST.

Well done !
Robert

Mooi zo'n drie op een rij !
De middelste mag voor mij iets lichter omdat ie zo klein is.
Misschien komt het op " groot " formaat, zoals de settings nu zijn, beter over.

Hello Frank

Well my friend the brief was to show 3 different POV of the same thing and you did that very well, not only that but you also got 3 completly different times of the day too which I think is absolutley superb. I agree it was a difficult task considering the 800 pixel rule but you seem to have coped with it well. 3 stunning shots here framed and displayed very nicely

TFS and for joining in the theme

kindr regards Helen

Hoi Frank,
Jij ook met het thema?! :-)

ciao Frank..
how nice this collage.. excellent choise of details.. really a great postcard!! many thanks
saluti from Stockholm ;))
ciao Marco

Great post solution to a tough problem and good images even after all the work--can only imagine how wonderful the originals were.
TFS,
Good job,
Wilt

Three very good images Frank and regardless of the size I think you achieved good detail. The larger version you supplied is most impressive.
David

Hi Frank,

Els
