Hi everyone,
This is a continuation of
'The Acropolis'.
I wanted to capture one photo during the day and the other during night from about the same position.
I hope you like it as I'm not being paid for this free publicity! :)
Maybe Dawn or Jancie can arrange something for me in Kiwi land (*_-)
Enjoy!

Not seen a night shot of Acropolis except when Yanni performed there live ... ;) This is very well done..my suggestion would be as someone told me recently ..nighshots seem to be more attractive in twilight...I did a few not so great ones recently ..but i guess i will do them again. All in all its still a very good picture of a famous monument.

Hi Constantinos,
I like this one very much! As Chris said, you don't see that many night shots of Parthenon. You have managed to capture the image very sharp and colourfully.
Sunil

Oh, Acropolis...one of the most amazing sites Ive seen in my life! This night shot is wonderful, Constantinos, being there myself I know it was not at all an easy job...I think you took a good position to take a pic from!

Well Constantinos Janice and I are meeting up tomorrow, so we will see what we can come up with for you, so if you wake in the night and your ears are burning... you will know its just us.. chatting about YOU.. he he..

You gotta practice your Kiwi accent though.. I somehow think thats gonna be a hard job...LOL...

Thanks for sharing this wonderful photo.
KIA ORA Dawn.

Hi Constantinos

Good night shot of the Parthenon & a view rarely seen. Daytime shots are far more common. Marvellous graphism & good sharpness. Tfs.

This one is awesome. Its feels different to view the Acropolis at night. Its like looking at a different structure. This one you captured perfect.

Wonderful night shot of this classic Greek monument, the balanced lighting and the very good composition are the great points of this lovely shot.
Vassilis

Constantinos...I could not have done it better (^_^)
Kidding .. but more serious now .. The only thing missing in here is ZEUS himself.
Wonderful photo !

A Tulip and a compliment

Mmm.... how I'd love to stand there on that hill with a tripod and my camera! Beautiful sequel, Κώστα. Excellent night shot and hey, I just noticed: you took this on my birthday ;o). Thanks for this belated BD gift. LOL.
TFS.

Could not resist to leave you a note on the continuation of your Acropolis series. This is extremely well done and provides a more mysterious feel than the daytime one. It brings us back in time because we do not seem the modern construction so much so we feel that Ancient Greeks will come to make an offering at the Temple. Excellent!

Again, sorry, my bag of greens is empty!

it's a good shot constantine, can i call you constantine? It's a Deja Vu of a scene from YANNI's concert. although you have put it in the center of the frame contradicting the rules of third but still the total impact of the image is good.

Εξαιρετική νυκτερινή φωτογραφία της πασίγνωστης Ακρόπολης. Όμορφος φωτισμός και χρώματα.
