I took this photo on a walk in Santorini. I liked this unusual house and liked it even better when I saw the little boy sitting on the roof! He must have had quite a spectacular view from up there.
Photo was scanned from a 35 mm. print and adjusted in curves. The mid day sun was really bright and the photo is a bit overexposed in spots. |

Ok, I have to keep in mind that it's a scanned picture. So I'll go easy about the colours that are a bit dull, especially in the sky... The Aegean on the other hand looks ok to me, Alli. I think you're wrong though about Fira, IMO this is taken in Oia (in the north) with the outskirts of Fira (in the middle of Santorini) being in the back.
Anyway...TFS.
As you liked this house, did you buy it ? It says 'ΠΟΛΕΙΤΑΙ' which means 'for sale' ;o)).
What a beautiful setting you have captured here Alli, great backdroop. The boys seen oblivious to the great beauty around him.

this is so lovely, so many nice details to see.
The colours are so warm and I like that little boy on this funny house.
It gives me so good spirit, this sun and the plants, we have snow when I look outside, brrrr.

Well captured alli, if I didn't mention Greece I would've thought it was my son, Jesse. I love the whole composition, even though some might say it is a bit busy at the bottom, for me it is all part of the scenery.
