[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi!

There's a theme on TrekEarth about cars of the communist era.
When I first looked at it, I knew I have to take part... So, here's the hidden treasure of socialism: Polski Fiat 126P.

But I also thought: why not post-processing another image for TrekLens?

Very few of this car type are still running on the streets. I knew the mother of my older son's classmate has one, so I asked the young lady to let me photograph her car. She was a bit surprised, but gladly agreed - so You, colleagues, can see it.

I respectfully dedicate it to monsieur Mario Belanger (EOSF1), who's the master of racecar photos. Mario, here's a metalbox from Formula Eastern. :)

PP: layer duplication, desaturation, gaussian and very slight radial blur of the background, soft sepia, framing, signing, re-sizing. I hope You'll like it.

Great capture of this old car ..the Polski Fiat.
Great way you worked on the colours. Than east Germany had the 'Trabant' and in the light of this all, i can recommend a good film on DVD from this perioid: Called ''Das leben der anderen'

Classic shot, great PP work, perhaps you have been a bit to quick at the rear end of the car, the green colors are visible there. But good work, compliments.

Great and a funny shot.
We had one of those in the family.
It was the greatest of the 80s and 90s.

Nice selective colour effect, and blurred background.

I admit from very close cause in the begin i had the feeling it was a toy but of great quality!
It's so different and so "square" angle!
I enjoy the blurred desaturated background! It work greatly!

Finally catching up after a few weeks off line. . This cutie attracted my attention at once (^_^). Cool and funny post. The post processing works here creating this little babby to pop out of our screen.

Mario is one of my favorites since I joined TL. We share same passions together, photography , race cars , F1 , beautiful

Felfigyeltem erre az érdekes képre a galériádban, nagyon jól komponált és hatásaiban is szépen készített felvétel. Tetszik a háttér elmosódása és a pengeéles színes autó. Mintha csak süvítene. :) Szerintem a legtöbb TrekLens látogatónak nincs fogalma (legalábbis akik bolygónk egy szerencsésebb részén tartózkodnak) hogy ez mi is. Hutyutyu... :)
