[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi! This time I'd like to ride in the boat of my Friend Rew Shearer (rewshearer) and publish a HPP portrait, which he's the master of.

The daughter of my wife's sister, Marietta, was gladly posing with the statue of the famous writer Zsigmond Móricz, when I told I'd like to have her portrait. :)

Shot was taken in a village named Prügy, on the same square as THIS photo. The original image was nothing special to be honest, but I hope with the help of Photoshop I managed to create something You may like.

PP: 1. Creating an image with extremely low exposure time with HP Image Zone.
2. Placed the original file and used magic eraser to fade the sky.
3. Used "glass" effect to the remaining layer to rid of the rather distracting background.
4. Placed the sharp version of Marietta and the statue.
5. Soft curve adjustment.
6. Framing, signing, re-sizing.

I hope You like it.

My dear dear friend.
I am sorry but I have to put to the test, in being honest to you.
I think I understand what you tried to do, but it is not working. The sky is strange, the blur on the houses is not good in my opnion.
Trust me when I say I rather give a happy comment, but we have to be honest to each other.

But I hope we are still 'friends' and have a nice weekend

Hello Laszlo,
I do like a bit of surrealism myself and this has the feel of a surrealist or perhaps impressionist painting.
It is an interesting image, but I think would work better if the mounded garden the statue is on was a bit less blurred.
An interesting experiment.
Cheers
Steve

Erdekes kep, Laci, es remelem elvezted a munkat rajta.

Nekem kicsit olyannak tűnik, mintha textidarabokból lenne összevágva a 4 fő rész: Marietta, Móricz, a szép lágy színű házak és a zseniálisra módosított ég.
Gratulálok és javaslom, hogy próbálkozz többet ilyen típusú képekkel, mert érdemes!!!
Üdv,
Marci

Hi Laszlo,
A nice combination of techniques to create a surrealistic result. Great colors and light and a nice composition with the two focal points. . .
Great day,
Karen

The "Glass" effect is well used to give a rich and strong texture! It's contrasted a lot! Impressive good work! The statue and Marietta have a good presence together. I enjoy those impressive clouds!
