Grew old, beautiful, mild face
I like to watch.
The face of grey-haired calmness.
How much it glided beside sins,
old, how many sad foibles smiled at.
I gaze at you, matronly age,
than bow, the arrow of which flew far,
in the endless one appearing blue,
which one trembles mildly, than the nightfall,
which one does not boast of crimson and gold already,
but the chance in that direction hostel
throws his grey smile on clouds,
which one everything flied across darkly,
resolutely, than the lightning,
but a million times more mildly.
Old, entrenched age
let me take you in
my boundless youth!
Tibor Marconnay
Megöregedett, szép, szelid arcot
szeretek nézni, -
galambősz nyugalom arcát...
mennyi bünök mellett suhant el az,
ó, mennyi bús gyarlóságon mosolygott.
Bámullak, asszonyos öregség,
mint ijjat, melynek nyila messze röppent
a kéklő végtelenben,
mely lágyan remeg, mint az alkony,
mely már nem kérkedik biborral és arannyal,
hanem a véletlenül arraszálló
felhőkre szórja szürke mosolyát,
mely minden sötéten átrepült,
határozottan, mint a villám,
de milliószor szelidebben.
Ó, körülbástyázott öregség
hadd fogadjalak be
határtalan fiatalságomba!

The poem is nice but I don't understand why the title, Rose Dawson is a fictional character, who is this woman and why did you take her photo?
