[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
seat of the kings of Hungary during the middle ages, later occupied by the Turks and left to decay. In the 17th century 'liberated' by the Austrians who controlled Hungary for another 200 years. In this period it was completely redesigned and rebuilt in a grandiose style. Again destroyed during the IInd World War, it is now completely reconstructed to its former splendour. This picture is from the rear, the Buda side.

nekem, aki az épület "tövében" laktam, mindenképpen sokatmondó kép a Budai Várról. Bárcsak mindenki láthatná élőben.

Gyönyörű panoráma felvétel a Budai Várról, tetszik ahogy a növényzet és az égbolt adja hozzá a természetes keretet. Turista szempontból egy szokatlan nézete a várnak, de örülök, hogy így került fel róla kép a TL-re. Hadd lássák ezt is a külföldiek. :)

A pleasant picture postcard scene and nicely composed for a natural looking view. I like the surrounding greenery and the bright sky as framing for the castle. Thanks for the tour:)
