OK, here's another shot of this interesting and fragile structure (same as yesterday's post).
Now it's nicely seen where the old barges had docked and waited for loading them up with coal. Unfortunately we cannot see the rigging of the bogies that came into the dock with the coal from the left... it had been dismantled long time ago :)

PP: as you see I've played around a bit with it:))) yep, it's a gradient map added with black and orange.. I selected the dock-house first and gave it less orange then the rest. After this I did some tuning on contrast and brightness.
I choose this effect because I found the original neutral and lack of colours because of the cloudy weather. I hope U'll like it this way!

I was thinking of cloning out the bird but hey, I let that poor fella fly there for good :))))

cool, nice work !
the bird is great addition and
the gradient really fits well

peace,
goran

Szia Tom!!

Ok! I have to admit that I like this pp work and the angle also, though seeing it like this it doesn't look like a structure about to fall... The angle of vision sure can make a difference! And this one is interesting too. I am glad you've left the bird, because it gives life to the photo.
Well done.

Ana

Excellent pp work ToM you have created a masterpiece love the effects you have created. Has turned a good shot into a great shot. Really love the moody colours, the orange is perfect. TFS

Peter

I like that unusual building! Give the impression an exentric person live there becose she don't want to be disturbed! The orange color is a good choice!

Cool one ToM... :) Very sharp and detailed. The colors are amazing and the PP great! The reflections are caught very well... The black... The orange... The brown... go very well hand in hand :) Its a master-piece with Ur name scribbed at the bottom with the frame :) * Glad U dint clone out the bird, if U did it would have looked very plain * :)
TFS :)

Take care...
- Hima.

i like both shots tom
the composition and POV are great

Viktorija

WOW! Amazing tones and lighting. Great job! Beautiful photo. Nice sharpness too. JP

Nice colouring; the building is much too small for theses big stone leggs. Gives it a funny look. Nice refelections on the water and I like that lonely bird.
The picture has a nice deep view.
Huub

Hi ToM, nice image, very well planed and executed pp work. The orange was an excellent choice. While the structure is set to the middle the vertical 1/3 2/3 ratio helps to the whole compo.
I think your decision with the bird was right, that gives the proof that the sky could show this fairy face on natural way. I was in Esztergom many times, never see this building, where is it exactly? Thanks for the note as well.

Szép nyárvéget!

Cheers,
Marcie

Exciting work here Tom, this old industrial edifice really gets a new and unreal life through your treatment and the framing is very well chosen! Good work.
Regards from Rotterdam, Bert.

Tom, thanks for inviting me to visit your place and see this wonderful picture. The light is perfect, you even have a bird to add to this good composition, well done, saludes, Iris

I adore the colors orange, in fact me
I love these colors that the end in the afternoon us
delight. Good job!
Congratulations for the work, I admire a lot
and as you had removed the bird, he did well
in not removing, it is a beautiful detail.
Very good.

Absolutely awesome...

Incredible ! I love !

Hi ToM,

I'm speechless! The colours are just beuatiful!! It's amazing how something so simple can become so magical. The frame is great; it contrasts with the warm sunset colours.
Very well done!
Constantinos

This is so cool! Not only is the structure interesting and kind of amazing- but the colours, they're just so divine! I love how those reddish tones are paused by the slight blue shadowy colour- very nice. An amazing photo, I wish I could see more stuff like this. :)

Biance.
