OK, It's time to post some photo of my hometown, Szentendre.
The town is situated 20km north from the capital city. It is the most obvious day trip out of Budapest. The town is called the "pearl of the Danube bend" because of its picturesque view!

Since I was born here, the sights always photographed by tourists are not really making me excited! :) So I try to find places out of the town center where you can get into the details! Like this window!!! :) So if you have some time to spent in Szentendre, be adventurous to find these places that you'll never get to see in a guided tour!!! :)

PP: No need to make a frame, no need to put grain effect... it's naturaly there :)))Only cropping and a bit saturation!

I hope you like it! :)

I have been to your hometown once in 1999 and just loved it. I wish I could have spent more time there. I was in Budapest on a business trip and I had one day off where I could visit the site of both Budapest and then we went to Szentendre for a very short time but only stayed in the touristic downtown.

This picture is simply beautiful. The composition, the light, the texture of the wall, the natural frame and the climbing vine with its shadow. My only nit-picky comment would be that I might have cropped the small green square on the right side to make this a very perfect picture. Well done and looking forward to seeing more from your hometown.

Hi!
I like the compo, the colours... I'm not good in commenting photos, but I know which touched me... Thanks for this one ;))

Nice shot, Tom! Great composition and lovely texture. You have chosen the right time of the day to get a nice shadow from the vines. Excellent!

Hi Tom!
nice detail of your town :)I am adventurous enough!! so, this is what I look for while on a tour through Pearl of the Danube Bend!! ok! Your picture is so sharp, I really have an impression I am actually looking right at the real window. You cropped it well, and the plant with its shadow adds life to this graphical shot, the light is superb as already mentioned!
congr!!
M:))

Ok PP challenged people like me will love your hometown then huh? :)
This is lovely in its colours and composition. THe window frame is excellent. The plants and its shadows add so much to the picture. Nicely done. TFS

Hi Tom!
Perfect composition! I liked the framing a lot, of the colors, the contrast, the lateral sunshine was perfect for the texture of the theme!
Without comments. Very, very good!
David

Me gusta el contraste de planos orgánicos(la vid) y los planos geométricos (la ventana). La iluminación y las texturas completan esta buena foto. Felicitaciones

I like the resistance of organic planes (the grapevine) and geometric planes (the window). The illumination and the textures complete this good photo. Congratulations

Very nice picture ToM, it is beautifully set and perfectly in focus. The shadow of the grapevine makes it completely.
Well done

HI Tom, I am happy to see a view from your city !

Beautiful picture Tom. The window case is unusual in USA or in the Far East. The picture is very nicely composed, sharp and colorful.

Great picture! Excellent composition! Nothing else to say except Bravo! Michel

Hi ToM, a stunning window view. The colors and lighting are perfect. The shadows on the wall and the vine just reaching the window shutter all look as if they were placed there so strategically, but no, it is all natural. Excellent clarity too ToM. Wonderful display, thank you.

Hi Tom! Thanks for sharing this nice shot. Il like the natural style, very simply, good texture and adapted frame.

Christine.

Szia Tom!
I know this window, you've captured it excellently! The lights and the texture of the wall are amazing!
Gabriella

This is an excellent composition, Tom :) I like the colours of your pic, its details too. Vine and its shadow are welcome, without them your shot would have been just a graphic one... Very nice and well done.
Martine

Tom when I look through your collection I never know which one to choose. I like the colours and the texture in this one. The window is well placed and the diagonal line of the foliage keeps the eye moving.

Joe
