[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Jökulsárlón - is the best known glacial lakes in Iceland. Jökulsárlón is separated from the sea by only a short distance, and the combined action of the glacier, the river that empties from the lake, and the ocean may eventually transform it into an inlet of the sea.
When I was there the weather was awful. But I took picture.

It is a realy breathtaking photo with cold and also warm colors,heavy weather conditions and good enough sharpnes.Good job.
What are these black colors on the iceberg surface?Is it because of environmental pollution?

Well I prefer bad weather ,I make live more interesting and more realistic , in Iceland anyway.
You can't allways get what you want,means you have to do the best with wath you have.

Awsome photo from Iceland. I know this glacial lake, but unfortunately I couldn't visit it in Icealnd. Wonderful arctic millieu and landscape. I must have been a great experience. The photo itself is good, the cold tones nicely dominate the image and the people in red are well highlighted. Despite the conditions, it's a really nice shot. Thanks for posting!
