Hi Lucky,
This is an impressive capture of these horses. Pershaps this is the slopes' height of mountains in backdrop which adds them a great sense of human feeling as you said, or the tender pose they have!
The light and textures on the white horse is especially well rendered. I like the strong contrast between both, too! My compliments! Annie

A beautiful atmosphere. Wonderful !
I hope that these horses are free, that's fantastic !
A very good shot.
Bravo

Thank you Luc.
Yes, maybe it is like Annie says and the slope in the background works well here. Very crisp hair blowing in the wind.
Your camera is full frame, is that right? That means when I see 14 mm for your photos, that I need 10 mm to get the equivalent wide view, right?
Thanks for pointing me to all your other Iceland photos too. I was browsing and will have to continue later as you have so many great photos.
All the best and thanks for all your help so far. Cheers. TFS. Karin

hello

this is nice...clear and sharp...love the composition...tfs

:-)

Hi Lucky,
We look at them and find them human quality, meanwhile they look at us and see the animal...)))

Very nice catch, nice use of the background which give a sense of open space, and harshness of nature. Even free they sure don't have it easy.

Great detailed furs, and good composition, good colours and contrast, althought maybe a tab too blue, adding a bit of yellow, would bring the greens out, and get rid of the blue cast. Well done my friend...))
