Hellow folks,

Back to Iceland for a bit...
Here's another dry puddle in the black lava sand near Dettifoss and Selfoss.

It's difficult to estimate the size of this puddle so just in case you'd like to know: this pointy part of the image is about 50cm long.
And.. the pic is in COLOR, not in b/w...
This was really the color of the sand... lava sand.
Really an amazing landscape...

Hope you like this!
Cheers,
Anneke

Hi Anneke,
A very good idea to mention that this photo is in color !! I thought it to be a b/w posting. :-)
I agree with you: a really amazing landscape !
Beautiful lines and curves in it. Good shot.
greetings,
Joop!

Hoi An,
What a great artistic impression in B&W. reat soft contrast, but quite noisy it look if you pictured sand :-) Hahaha..
Superb posting, this is what I realy like...very special, very good.

Hi Anneke

I was going to congratulate you on a really interesting b&w shot... and then I read your note! Very nice patterns and shapes. I'm trying to persuade my wife that we have to go to Iceland - it looks like a great location.

Cheers.
John

Hi Anneke. Mooie en opvallende kleuren(b/w) opname met een artistieke inslag.
Wel mis ik de kracht van de compositie wat maar het is wel een bijzondere opname.

Hey Anneke
I just love the colors and lines.
When are you going back? Maybe we can join ;)

Merhaba Anneke.....
Excellent job with beautiful photo, wonderful colors and a very beautiful detail..
Selamlar...
Milas...

Strange Anneke - very strange - aliën - like from another planet and yes in colour it is - I see brownish grey - white/grey - blueish grey - light grey and dark grey. And different textures.
Must have felt great walking and driving around in a place like this - yes of course one can not expect sand made of lava to be any other colour.
This probably would also qualify as an abstract.
