[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Howdy peeps,

So... there were were, in Vik along the south coast of Iceland.
Enormous waves were beating on the black lava beach and thick clouds kept the sun away. The wind swept up the sand in the distance... where two people take a stroll........

Converting to B/W made no difference to the color version.
I really like the dark and threatening atmosphere.
Hope you enjoy it too!

Excellent B&W image it need a bit of guts to post such an image, but I'm impressed. A really great photo which might be used as large wall picture. Like the low contrast and the mist in the distance.

Coverting to B&W did not make a difference - amazing to think of a country that is so dark, often has cold or bad weather, but what it does have is impressive landscapes. The vast open space you have captured here is impressive.

Very peacful photo, but moody also. I like that it's in black and white, it wouldn't be the same in color. Nice texture in the sand.
