HELLOWWW THERE FOLKS!!!

It's sooooo good to be back home... no TL for 4 whole weeks is a bit too much to ask of me!

On the other hand, I really felt a bit sad to leave Iceland. Oh my, what an amazing country that is!
It's not just beautiful or just grand, but it's..... amazing!!!
The combination of the weather, the most amazing landscapes and the fact that almost everything there is volcanic, makes Iceland so unique and so.... perfect!

Well... no need to tell you all that we had a great time up there...

In "Jokulsarlon" (lake of the Jokul) we saw mountains of ice floating around in all shapes and sizes. Ice that broke off the glacier...
What you see here is in fact a small piece of crystal clear ice lying on the "beach" of the lake.
Unfortunately it's not a very light image, due to clouds and rain, but still well worth to share.

Hope you like this.

Cheers,
Anneke

Fantastic, you're back, still processing all your adventures and pictures we are sure.
Good picture to start with; one that symbolises Iceland, hope it was not all rain and cloudy skies.
It feels like a scandinavian glass artist was working here.

Hie Anneke,

A unique photo you've got there on treklens. At first glance, I thought that it's a water splashed shot using a fast shutter. How wonderful it is.

Hong

Heel apart deze foto. Je moet een poosje kijken voordat je 'm snapt.

Interesting shapes - well presented. Lovely comparison between the water and the ice. Look forward to seeing many more of your shots from this country of contrasts.
