Hi Anneke,

It's amazing to see all the colours in the ice. One would think that ice is ice and is either transparent or white. But you show us that that's not the case!
I'm wondering what makes the colour. The pressure that has been on the ice? The minerals in the ice? The age? No idea!

Hoi Ennie,
Weer zo'n mooi koud plaatje. I't's good you increased the contrast a bit I think. Now the clouds show quite well against the white grey and blue of the sea and ice. You leveld the horizon to prevent the ice is ending up aainst the wall of the frame isn't it :-)
Again a wonderful picture of this special place.

Attractive landscape,This scenery quite dark in my screen overall and overcast on the ice too,adjusting a little bit curve helped a lot, good POV and well arrangement of element in this scene.Good work,TFS.

Hello Anneke,

Neat shot and composition . You noticed how the colors of ice are amazing ( Salt water I mean ). Icebergs are spectaculars to see at sea. Unfortunately , we had to stay away from them (^_^) for obvious security reasons.

I trust you had a terrific time in Iceland, Next step , a trip here in February (^_^) top discover what a real winter is( LOL !).

Nice to see you back . I know I missed your return , but like you , I am not very active for a few months. Simply too much work on the docks.
