Iceland sure does look like a very beautiful place, I dont think it matters what the weather is as long as the place is beautiful like this. I love the way you have caught the reflection in the water, the detail is fantastic.

as tourists, we have to do with the actual weather, the result is threatening indeed, and beautiful, oh yes, iceland is beautiful, i'm a fan, but just saw photos and videos for the moment..

I just like this view! Not grey and dull at all! Just interesting and different! If you want to see sun and beaches, you would go to the South Islands, isn't it?
The reflections of mountain and sky are very well rendered. And the luminosity bursts the cloud cover. Very well done! Annie

Hi Anneke,I like these soft colours,the whole image gives a feeling of solitude,free of buildings & masses of people,it really reminds me a lot of the Scottish highlands.I like the mood this gives off.

I agree Anneke! This is Marvelous! The subtle tones and colors are very pleasing to the eye! Love the low lying clouds and the reflection is so nice in the water! Outstanding! ....can I swim in it?

Well.. the weather might be dull.. but the landscape here is definatelly not dull... I like the composition and the reflection, the "smoke" just add in more magical feel. great colours and details, I sure like the threatening sky, (as long as I am not there)

is a beautiful trip that you have done here is absolutely superb. The colors aren't sad, you say that you had the rain that day, but a background in the mist, is perceived as a clear sunny, is that I'm wrong? The Iceland in the air to be a great country from what I saw throughout your series of photographs. The lighting effects are as good and the reflection of this peak of volcanic rocks in the water. And almost pristine nature of any civilization, a country, Iceland, which respects our planet and that makes the most of what it gives to live in agreement with it.
