[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture was captured in an old cemetary in county Cork, Ireland. The Celtic cross (or Irish cross) is unique in that it combines the cross with a ring surrounding the intersection. The ring was supposed to represent the sun, a revered symbol in pagan Irish. In Ireland, it is believed that the Celtic cross was introduced by St. patrick during his mission in converting the Irish pagans. St. Patrick combined the symbol of the sun with the cross, linking the similar nature of both Christian doctrine and pagan's belief.

Hi Marcel, great photo and very spiritual. Great pov, and silloulettes of the Keltic Crosses. Also like how you captured the sunrise here and the golden sky.
I think you captured the promise of the birth of a new and better life after this one.

I used to work in Cork city and loved exploring the countryside there, what cemetary did you take this wonderful photo in ?
