[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken back in July, during Scott Kelby's worldwide annual photo walk. The Irish part of the walk took place in Cashel, where I work and live not to far away from.
I have seen this dog before, and I knew that sooner or later he would look through the hole. I just had to wait for him to do so.
Luckily someone left a bicycle next to the gate. I think it adds something to the atmosphere.

Very nice shot - great opportunity that was well realised. Your composition is perfect, giving us a view, albeit softened by the short focus, of what the dog might be observing.
Very good work and well worth the wait for the dog to reappear. Excellent!

WoW thats fantastic B&W
Loved the details and tones on the gate.
The dog's gaze and ur composition is brilliant.

I am just curios about the bokeh, it feels like a hand shake :$
Since u've used 1/4000 it simply cant be a hand shake at all n the dog's head is in very fine focus too.

hey, i was near to not be curious as i did not think i would be interested by the picture of a bike in the street, but i didn't notice the dog, and didn't see the DoF too,
