Song Of The Evening
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This little fellow (Robin - Erithacus rubecula) was captured in the evening time at the Marlfield lake in Clonmel.
He was singing a lovely song to the moon.
No garden bird can be more familiar than the Robin, with its characteristic red breast and engaging behaviour.
Robins have a delightful musical song, flutey in nature and pitched higher than that of a Blackbird. Being territorial all year-round means that Robin song can be heard throughout the winter months, and Robins can often be heard singing at night throughout the year, prompted by street lighting. |

Hello Wojciech,
This robin seems luminous on the dark background. Great sharpness and detail as well.
All the best,
Karen
Hello Wojciech,
Robins are my favourite bird because of its friendly and inquisitive behaviour.
I have never encountered one at night so you have given me new information.
For the conditions, you have made a detailed shot of this little fellow.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
