[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Back in 2007 I posted very similar photo which you can see here. This month there is an internal photo-competition in a local camera club. The theme is "Still Life".
As that photo is one of my favourites, I have decided to print and submit it. Unfortunately the format was to square... so...I did it again...with few more empties. The other change is a full bottle, this time it came straight from it's natural environment...a fridge. I hope the mist on the bottle is visible enough.

I have used a different equipment. Instead of 15mm fish-eye which gave a lot of distortion I have used 90mm macro. I have also used a flash light this time and 5d instead of 400d.

Same as last year, bottles were placed in a white soft-box.
Instead of selecting and converting to b&w I have only used a Sponge Tool to desaturate empties.

Honestly I was not sure, should I post it or not, as it is very similar to the first one. I hope you don't mind.

Very good use of the light box and great lighting. Good and sharp through the whole picture and the partial desat is well done.

Nice. Beautiful visual effect from the one full bottle vs. the clutter of empties. A good advertisement for Carlsberg, too!

I have to say I'm not keen on the frame, the colour doesn't sit well with the image - and the title, to me, seems glib and tacky.

Great work overall though.

:))) This is brilliant, Wojciech!!! Superb shots and pp work on both versions! I'm not too sure about the text on the frame, though...It's a SUPER interpretation of the Carlsberg slogan, really funny and clever but I would've preferred it only as title...Nevertheless, GREAT JOB!
