I like this, but I would also like to see the composition changed a bit.
There's a photographic 'rule' that states that diagonal lines should not vanish directly into the corners, they should be a couple of centimeters off. It has to do with the way we perceive things and how the human brain works.
Nice dual-pattern photo!
