Beautiful moody shot, and thanks for the suggestion. You are right, they used to make good movies back then. It seems people were more receptive to content loaded stuff then than they are now when all they want is easy momentary satisfaction.

Hi Jose, I do not remember this film, althougt I went quite often to the cinema in the 60's. I liked most Antonioni and Monica Vitti. Those were the days.. And now, are there any good Italian films? The same is with the songs. I loved Aznavour, Brassens,...

Jose after wandering in your gallery I notice that the key note to your images is the mood you establish with your colors and the way you handle the lighting. This on is a good example even in B & W and the use of harsh front lighting. Bravo

This does take us back in time when things were so much more secure, and people had values.Those were the good times.
It looks like its right out of a film noir which to this day remain my favorites probably because it was my era.

Lots to enjoy in this image:) I especially like how the woman's left arm and her bicycle are echoing the angle of the railing. The shadows of the couple help us see them "twice" as they play their important role in the image. Well done!
