| I took this picture of my sister on the initial part of our trip when we were hanging out in a pub in Dublin on a rainy afternoon. Think the expression came out very nice, and was surprised that at this speed and a focal length of 55mm, the shot didn't come out blurred. |

Yes you sister looks jaded. Good light and expression. But this kind of photos are read very well by the viewers. We look every to people. It is important to make every thing correct in such a photo. If I read the photo I see a lot of light in the left corner. Here I start to ask my self what is it. Then I arrive at your sister. See keeps me captured for a while. Than I overview the total. You have to remove the light in the corner. That brings you direct to your sister. Maybe you have to extend the dark right side in the viewing direction of your sister. That will balance the photo.
