Bonjour Pierre,
une compo différente de la photo que Suzanne avait postée il y a quelques temps. Le ciel est d'un autre bleu aussi...
Je l'aime bien aussi cette vision : )
Bon dimanche

I have seen these trellie-houses from a distance, long ago, not far from Brindisi I think it was. I wondered what it was and regret we did not stop and had a closer look! Glad to see this picture, which is excellent and shows these unique roofs perfectly! TFS!

Salut Pierre
I think tintin took an almost identical shot to this one. I like the blue & white combo & superb sharpness, & excllent graphism. Good work, & merci pour le partage! Bon dimanche!

Hello Pierre,
Love everything here! The textures, colours, shadows, light, just everything. The shot is composed very well and the colours nice and very pleasing together. For some reason I keep thinking Parcese (spelling?) board game. Anyway a great simple but strong photograph. Thanks Pierre!
Love and Peace always!

Salut Pierre,

Hi Pierre,
Drat. I was hoping I could copy and paste the same response I put to Suzanne's image...but, no...you changed things. I do like all the sky you put included in your crop. And, I do like the diagonal composition. But you know I don't like the centered ball in the middle. ;) Still...looks good for the most part. Well done.
Richard
Well, thanks for reminding me of my weather :)
Just kidding, but they are announcing strong wind and rain for the whole weekend and there is still sunny here...
I remember this shot, Suzanne posted it a long ago and she posted a bit different crop. I find this one perhaps more interesting, although I would crop the top part to remove almost all first cloud line, that would emphasise the trulli top even more. I see it right now because when I am writing this lines I can't see the top of the photo and it really looks better. WS? Don't feel like it, it's Sunday and I'm lazy... :)
Regards to Toronto!

Très semblabe à la photo de Suzanne,si ce n'est des nuages dans le ciel qui sont différents! On pourrait presque dire que c'est une copie conforme! Belle photo de type architectural! Belle clarté et défénition de l'image! Superbe photo! Michel

Hello,
nice sky indeed. I miss it too ...
As for the photo itself, the composition is very nice. These three houses look a bit like from the movie about ancient times :)And their colours match very well the sky.
I agree with ropetko that cropping the top up to the first cloud would add to the composition.
Still ... 2 more winter months to come :-(

Hello Pierre...
Excellent composition, with a good line created by the tops! Details and textures are as usual good, and the colours too of course... I think your POV here really makes this one...

A group of three. Can't go far wrong.
A group of three where one is different. Further interest.
Good interesting detail in the stone work and the domes, with a POV that provides perspective and, of course, a diagonal.
Can't go wrong again.
Interesting subject, lighting/exp is well-controlled. Well sharp enough. Can't go wrong!!
Manila Jury conferred and voted an average of 9.5/10 after I explained that the white stuff was NOT snow.

Beautiful shot of these very unique roofs. I like the right amount of sky, or the proportion of the sky to the roof area you did on this photo. It is just right on!

Seen before from Suzanne; but different; tall majestic view; polarize-filer I guess.
I think these bricks are positioned in upwards connected circels, so there is no horizontal line to position your picture.
Nice view; 'eskimohouses in Italy'
Thanks Pierre

Good composition! hope to see more of your fine work :)
Beautiful colors, astonishing architecture. I am not sure if I like the square format. A rectangle with less sky could work better, imho.
What are those? Look very good anyway! I like the compo, contrasts and colours.

Hi Pierre,
I like a lot the contrast between the blue sky with the white bricks. It's wonderful. and the angle you shot is very well chosen, It valorises all the lements in the image. Nice perspective and a beautiful scene.
Well done!!
take care, Stef :))
ps: Suzanne made a similar one, at the same place isn't it?
