[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture shows a detail of Santa Croce church, in Lecce. It is the most representative example of Lecce's Barocco. To me the best period to visit the church, and all the other buildings in Lecce is the late afternoon; here, the sun is low in the sky and its warm light illuminates the white stone and gives a golden patina to it.

In this shot, I tried to show the beauty of light/shadows game in sculpure and the strong relationship insisting between the choise of a material and the final artwork. To achieve this effect I decided voluntarily to underexpose the photo.
The title reguards the figure of the man who's carring the load of the balcony together with the animals next to him... but it's a joke!

Photoshop processing: I regulated the shadows/highlight values a bit and the colour curve; then, I blured the edges of the photo.
