[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note

At the end of the mounth of August there is the most important holy day of my city, Lecce; it's dedicated to St. Oronzo, St. Giusto and St. Fortunato the patron saints of the city. Many people come in Lecce from the near villages to visit the saints, and here they found music, food, markets, people and... light!
In the photo you can see St. Oronzo's statue. It is put on one of the two ancient Roman columnes that indicated the end of the so called "via appia" road.
On the occasion of the feast, the main squares and streets of Lecce are adorned with milions of coloured light bulds.
I shot the photo not using a flash nor a tripod, I just tried not to move while i was taking it; then I adjusted colours and contrast a bit with photoshop and here you are the result.
