This is one of the most representative example of Barocco Leccese architectural style. The richness of the decoration on this church facade is due to the local stone which is very brittle and so easy to carve.
Every time I go visiting this church I can't go away without staring at it for at least half an hour, because you can always find some new amazing details among its sculptures.
I wasn't that easy to take this picture to me since I hadn't any tripod with me, so I hold my camera against a facade of a building in front of the church.
