[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It was Christmas day and I was in my parent's house. I went on the roof to spread out the clothes. The weather was fine, it was a sunny and windy day so I got the idea to realize a picture using the clothes as sails.
This is the results; I'm quite happy with it, but not my mother... she criticised the way I hanged up the shirtes!

I took the photo directly in b/w and then I post-producted it in photoshop:
cropped;
selected the sky and blured and decreased the brightness;
selected the floor and increased the contrast;
selected the clothes and adjusted the highlights;

Hi Dario, your note makes me smile - I know exactly the comments MY mother would make about the hanging of the laundry.

Love the b/w, good post processing work as well. Just a tad burned in the towels.

ahhhh, who doesnt love the smell of fresh laundry that is drying in the sunshine??? Thanks Dario for creating an image that provides more than just a visual treat, you have brought up lovely memories as well. Just goes to show that photography doesnt always have to be perfect to achieve its purpose!!! Great job!

This really made me smile. A slice of everyday life, but what a shame your mother had to wash clothes on Christmas Day. I like the composition very much.
