[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the view from the town centre of my city, Trieste in the NE direction. In the background the Alps.
I've used a quite closed diaphragm for a good depth of field and sharp image. Just a slight post-processing with GIMP, just for noise-reduction.
It was quite cold that day, with a strong wind (named "bora") from NE.


Una vista dal pieno centro della mia città: Trieste. La vista è in direzione NE; sullo sfondo, le Alpi.
Ho scattato con un diaframma relativamente chiuso per avere una buona profondità di campo ed una immagine affilata.
La giornata dello scatto era piuttosto fredda e sferzata dalla bora, il vento che caratterizza questa città.

Hi Luca, great shot, the semi-silhouette works really well and the distant snow-capped mountatins look fantastic. Overall hue suits the mood of the picture too.
