simple composition and nice placement of the walnut it the center, nice soft light and similar colors to the walnut in the background and foreground..

Welcome to Treklens !!
Very nice first posting.
You can get more out this photo, when you put the walnut NOT in the centre, but just outside the center of the photo.
When you are able to reflect a bit light to the walnut, it will be less dark.
And try to write a note with it. More people will evaluate your photo when there is something to read with it.

I can't really give this any points at all. Boring subject. WHY cover it? Out of Focus. No notes. Over exposed. Centrally placed in the frame. Sorry, what do you see in this?
