Why "dangerous" summer?
Because the grey color dominating the sky is the smoke produced by a large fire that was burning the forests near this mountain, called "monte dell'ascensione".
2007 summer was a tragic season for Italy with large fires burning our country everywhere, and it's sad to know that large part of them were not accident but voluntary produced by men.

The fire is very dangerous. Animal, plant, there is a man in trouble if the forest burns. You noticed the essence very well in the landscape. Good composition. Congratulations.

I must say it is not only about photo technicality but also how we learn about the world through a photo like this from your good composition. This is a great valley view. But the story behind your Note is great.

Hello Giorgio,
The possible fires are the back side of warm dry summers, and even more dangerous if mad people are on the loose!
I like the composition with the warm colours, the variation between fields and forests is an attractive element!
