I have rarely seen mist on the lens work so brilliantly Marco.
Even the extreme light works in harmony with the elements of the scene and enhances the mood.

Very good position of the walker on the frame allowing to capture his/her shadow what gives a great effect to the photo.
Great effect also gives the rain drops and the bright light in the ground.

I like the bold approach here Marco , straight at the sun , the silhouetted woman and her shadow exude much atmosphere in this context of emptiness ( nothing much goes around there ) , a mood that is further enhanced by the rain drops on the lens , it is exultant for the eye , great pov low and daring ,not a bad looking image my friend,

The glare and optical diffraction?...seems to be the effect of choice for this dreamy shot. It looks like a show exposure effect because of the clouds, yet it is 1/800s. Whatever pp work you have applied, there seems to be no overexposure in the sun glare.

I like the concept for the shot, Marco: a wet cobbled street, a silhouette and a low sun which causes looooong shades. Also the way the silhouette "steps out" of the sun. The raindrops on the lens that caused all those litte diafragm images, however, are not my cup of tea - in fact, they ruin the shot for me.
As always, just my idea.

se volevi creare un atmosfera, uno stato d'animo, ci sei riuscito benissimo. le goccioline di pioggia contrastano efficacemente l'effetto della luce forte e del cielo drammaticamente struggente nel suo azzurro intenso. le ombre lunghe danno il colpo di grazia... =)

Marco, I must say I was mesmerized when I saw this masterpiece and then I read your note I shivered! its too strong! The long shadow in the foreground gave me a feel that this person is walking away but somehow still there.. attached! very good light and shadow... POV is outstanding!
a superbe way to portray the sight from the misty eye! quite impressive!
