These tall narrow painted houses, with the washing hanging out, are a feature of this small port in the Cinque Terre region on the west coast of Italy.
PP included use of ShiftN, a freeware program used to correct perspective distortions.

A lot of character in this photo.
Great scene of these old houses, good balance in the composition plus a bit of street action to add to the interest. Amazing looking place, I guess you just have to give up on the lens correction in this image - you'll never get those buildings looking straight!

I love this one Peter. The boat leads in the eye so well. If I were to be really pernickity I would say that it is a pity you did not quite get all the boat. More positively the yellows and oranges are marvellous
