Da's een tijdje geleden, maar leuk om weer een foto van je te zien :-)
En deze neushoorn staat er mooi op, een leuk gezicht zo met die groene bomen op de achtergrond. Mooi gedaan!

En hoe.. een knoert van een spierbundel
met bomen achter als mooi natuurlijk decor.
Als je naar je frame links onder kijkt .. zien we een knik.. die ook mooi in de foto doorzet.

Good capture of this white rhino. You got a nice result considering the bright sunny patches on the ground although obviously the rhino much prefers the shaded area.

Mooie scherpe foto. Niets mis mee.
Zorg altijd dat, als je dieren/mensen fotografeert, je de ruimte vóór hen altijg groter maakt dan de ruimte áchter hen.
Dus andersom dan op deze foto.

A nice capture of the white rhino!
I see someone commented on the skin colour. In this case the skin colour has nothing to do with the popular name of the rhino. It is actually called "white rhino" because of the "wide mouth" as opposed to that of the Black rhino that has a more pointed mouth. Over the years the "wide" has become 'White" and hence the name. The skin colour often related to the colour of the mud bath that they take frequently so you see them in earth red over here as well as more grey to almost charcoal depending on the colour of the mud.

Sorry to be long winded - I just wanted to add some more comment

A lovely beast and a very good photo. I would like to suggest a little tighter crop or to give him more space to move (in front) if possible.

Nou, het was een pittig zonnige dag, zo te zien. Mooi vastgelegd.
Wees maar blij dat je 'm niet boos hebt gemaakt. Met die tandestoker op z'n neus kan ie nog behoorlijk prikken.
