| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I took one day inside the Duomo, the cathedral of Milan. A distinguished mister, clearly of Arab origin, has just opened his briefcase and taken out a small carpet on which, after taking off his shoes, he has started to pray towards the Mecca.
This photo can be the symbol of the tolerance that the Church and the western civilization offer to all those who peacefully desire to profess their faith in any place.
Maybe such a photo, absolutely occsional and not artificial, may show what being tolerant means much deeper than many speeches and invitations to harmony. |

Hi Guiliano.
Actulally either islam or Christianty say to their believers that love other people and be helpful for other people. The religions never tell us to war, to fight. But we humans some times can forget the doctrines of our religions. I hope it was never forgotten.
I saw a few years ago similar scene in Bursa Ulucamii (Great Mosque). Muslims was praying Noon Prayer, a few Christians was sitting on the floor at the back side of mosque, and they was praying with their faith rules. It was really interesant. In my opinion, if you want to the people love you, you should love them first.
Thank for this sharing.
Best wishes and sincere greetings.
