[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The ancient village of Termoli is born like fortified takeover longobardo, to the border between ducato of Benevento and the that one of Spoleto, before under the dominion of one, then of the other. Il borgo antico di Termoli nasce come insediamento fortificato longobardo, al confine tra il ducato di Benevento e quello di Spoleto, prima sotto il dominio dell'uno, poi dell'altro.
Il castello secondo la tradizione è stato edificato dal grande imperatore svevo Federico II, ma potrebbe essere antecedente e risalire al'epoca normanna.
Fino alla metà del 1800 conteneva tutta la popolazione dell'insediamento in condizioni di sovraffollamento indicibili, solo con Ferdinando II i Termolani hanno il permesso di costruire fuori le mura.
Il borgo antico è affascinante con le sue stradine e le mille soluzioni edilizie spontanee.

You know what I love most about this picture, that I can see the curtain billowing outside the window in the breeze from the open door - it so nice to live in a warm climate.
The potted plats on the stairs and the blue, blue sky - all that in combination with a long history. It's fantastic,
