Alcuni originali tirabouchon esposti in un ristorante di Asti

Asti (Ast in piemontese) è un comune del Piemonte di 75.127 abitanti, capoluogo della provincia di Asti.
"Municipium" romano noto con il nome di Hasta Pompeia o semplicemente Hasta, fu sede di un ducato longobardo della Neustria. Libero comune nel Medioevo, con diritto di "battere moneta", fu uno dei più importanti centri commerciali tra XII e XIII secolo, i suoi mercanti svilupparono il commercio ed il credito in tutta Europa. È conosciuta in tutto il mondo per i suoi vini, in particolare l'Asti spumante ed ogni anno, a settembre, vi si tiene uno dei concorsi enologici più importanti d'Italia, denominato la Douja d'Or. Celebre è anche il suo Palio storico, festa tra le più antiche d'Italia, che si svolge a settembre e culmina con una corsa di cavalli montati "a pelo" (senza sella).

We did it again neighbor! HAHA! You must sit and wait for me to post! What time is it there? Here it is 7:30AM when I post! Nice work on this Silvio. I love the tones of the metal. I might would have cut the yellowish cast some, maybe I will do a WS to see what comes of it! Have a great weekend!

Hi Silvio

A superb still life, with attractive warm colours, & reasonable sharpness. Good lighting contrast, & composition. Maybe a couple of grapes or a wine bottle cap, to let everyone know that these are 3 corkscrews, to open wine bottles? Tfs!
