This shot is very nice as it incorporates a bit more of nature than the butterfly alone would. The flowers are colorful and make a nice addition to the composition as a whole. The bokeh is just icing on the cake. Well done.

dear Silvio,
a wonderful Papilio machaon and lavender.
the season of your land looks going forward a month than here in Hokkaido...lavender is still bud, and I don't see Papilio machaon yet.
this Papilio machaon is very vivid, its Japanese name is "ki-ageha"="yellow papilio), one of very popular butterflies here.
anyway this shot is very calm tone, but those colors are so fresh.

Ils ont l'air d'aimer la lavande ces machaons! J'ai aussi fait toute une série de photo de ces beaux papillons sur des touffes de lavande. Superbe macro avec une très belle netteté sur le corps du papillon et un très bon cadrage.
