issi è un comune di circa 2.200 abitanti della provincia di Sassari, il paese sorge a meno di 8 km da Sassari in linea d'aria, ha una superficie di 10,35 Km² e suoi abitanti chiamano Tissessi. Sua principale via si chiama VIA ROMA.
La VIA ROMA ha un significato speciale per me perché i miei antenati, emigrati in Brasile e per alcuni anni in contatto con coloro che sono rimasti in Tissi. Il tempo passava, la gente muore e il contatto tra la famiglia è stata spezzata. Ma mio nonno tardi ricordato il nome della strada dove sono venuti dalle lettere, VIA ROMA, così ho guardato tutti Scarpa che ha vissuto nella Tissi VIA ROMA, dicendo che potrebbe essere parenti. Nel maggio 2009 sono andata a Tissi, l'indagine tutte Scarpa che hanno inviato le foto erano i miei parenti e ho fatto questa foto con un sacco di emozioni, è stato a causa di questa strada che ho trovato una parte della mia famiglia.

The VIA ROMA has a special meaning for me because my ancestors emigrated to Brazil and for some years in contact with those who remained in Tissi. But my late grandfather remembered the name of the street where they came from the letters, Via Roma, so I watched every shoe that has lived in Tissi VIA ROMA, saying it could be relatives. In May 2009 I went to Tissi, to investigate all shoes that have sent the photos were my relatives and I made this picture with a lot of emotions, it was because of this road I found a part of my family.
