The history of Sardinia has been tightly linked countryside traditions and the relationship of men with animals. Among the most important animals for the Sardinians, because the geography of the island, is the goat that is present in many stories and legends.
In the picture taken in Cavalcata Sarda this year, we see a representation of a goat, with a mask made of wood, clothes made with goat skin of truth and the bells are placed in flocks.
Unlike what many think of Sardinia is more than an island of sun and sea, more local people of a rich history, traditions and customs.
