[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
We drove to small towns on the tops of mountains in Sicily where the men would congregate on benches and socialize. There were no women in these groups but the men were for the most part very friendly. Some seemed skeptical but most were curious about us. I heard one man comment on the zoom lens so I walked over and let him take some pictures of his daughter and some of the people (including me). The other thing that was very interesting was that all these men were dressed in jackets and sweaters when it was 80 degrees (F). Apparently this temperature was cold for them.

Another great shot, Roger. These men could not have planned it any better with their distinctly different facial expressions. I wonder what they are discussing? There is something small but very bright reflecting behind the head of the guy with the cap, just below his left ear. Regardless, great image.

only saw scene like this on documentary about sicily.. not on picture.. fantastic capture of them (probably good friends), Roger.. i sure love this one.. all four with different expression.. they were used to dressed smart probably.. or could be they felt the coldness easily.. tfs..
