Every night after dinner with our friends in
St Georgen,I made a little walk to the nearby village Dietenheim.
From there you can see the full lenght of the Pustertal valley towards the Dolomite peaks near Toblach.
In the evening the sun is at the right side, giving surprising scenes...

Hi Jan,

Een ander beeld aangeboden uitzonderlijk.
Nice uitvoering met een uitstekend contrast.
Have a nice weekend,
Adrian

Good Morning, Jan!

Wow, what a beautiful landscape with splendid green colored vegetation all around!
The mountains give a great mood to the picture and so as is the cloudy sky. To keep the church in the center of the picture was a good decision. The couple infront of the picture give a great idea of the scale of the picture. Well chosen POV and great sharpness are other features of your shot. Very well done!

Thanks for sharing.

regards,
Paras Bhalla

Hello Jan! Wonderful valley, amazing landscape. Excellent church. Perfect exposure. Nice capture. Ideal frame. Well done!

Hi Jan,

The vegetation colours are very rich with varying shades as you look towards the mountains, the red roofs of the building on the right and the church stand out well. A brilliant composition well shot and framed, the dof is very good sharp details and great colours good pov well done.

Regards
Jon

Hoi Jan,

Groeten,
Niek

Hoi Jan,
Deze is prachtig man!
De wolken die over de Dolomieten rollen, het kerkje, de rode daken, de groene velden en bomen......héél mooi allemaal.
Het wandelende stel met de kinderwagen zorgt voor de finishing touch!

Groet uit Renesse,
Adri

A postcard-spectacular shot here Jan, everything in its right place - the only surprise for me was to see the couple with a stroller, when it looks like it should be a farmer riding a tractor to preserve that sense of the rural.

The sun striking those distant bare mountains is magnificent and the two splashes of red from the rooftops serves to punctuate the flow of the shot.

I wonder if a slight use of gradient just at the top of the frame, to reduce the bright splotches of cloud, would add to the mood?

Hi jan

The couple with the stroller pram make a good focal point in the mid distance. Excellent color, framing & sharpness. The craggy bg peaks make a superb backdrop. Tfs!

Hoi Jan,

Hi Jan
Nice light encountered here while the people show the depth of this wonderful region. Compo and POV are sound, well done
Jim

Hi Jan
WOW! The light is beautiful and the whole scene is so well composed right down to the two people strolling with the baby. The eye can move in a zig zag throughout the image.
Well done. This is going to my favourites.

Beautiful shot with interest in fg mid ground and bg Great lighting colours and details For some reason I find myself wishing that you had pointed the camera a little more to the left I think its due to that building on the right although the longer I look at it the more the building adds to the composition Good job
warm regards
David

Hi Jan,
Idyllic scene, you can feel the peace & tranquilty this image portrays.I like how you have the church off centre & that small red cart in the field & the woman's red clothing, they form a very strong triangle, which always adds impact & strength to a scene, not the red colours, but the triangle:)
