Stunning shot, Tibi! Really very nice indeed - great colours and details throughout. The rocks in the foreground add a nice depth to the shot and the reflections really are lovely.

the color emerald of the waters and the panorama of the mountains around justified a route things difficult..

Its fame on international scale had been associated in the past to the reddening phenomenon of its waters, which used to take place during the central day hours in the hottest period of the summer season, as consequence of a unicellular seaweed bloom, the Glenodinium sanguineum March. (Gs). The water reddening intensely appeared for its last time in 1964; afterwards, there were only occasional, weekly intense bloom, although the existence of the seaweed has been plainly documented up to now.
