took this shot on the way to the dolimites bus stops to give everyone a chance to see the magnifcent waterfall i must have missed it so took a couple of shots of this one shot in raw resized and uploaded

Hi Bryan,
I like the effect you have given the rushing water.I may have cloned out that lifefloat at the right hand side,I find my eye keeps going to it, rather then the falls.This is the type of situation, where a split grad filter could have helped with that OE of the bright sky,IMHO.

I think this is a situation where your skills at hdr may have paid dividends The oe towards the picture is quite marked I agree with Ron that a split graduated filter may have helped You may have cloned out the life belt but it does give a sense of scale which would be mssing otherwise I think may have pointed in out in my note It appears to have been a rather dull day - the colours seem a little flat when you are touring you have to work with what you get so I think you did a good job under the circumstances
